Water Kingdom is a theme water park situated in Gorai, 55 km from Mumbai city, and along with Essel World forms India's largest amusement and water park.
Apart from the conventional features of a theme water park like water sprinklers, waterfalls, wave pools and fountains, Water Kingdom has many other attractions like the 30000 sq ft Lagoon, breathtaking spiraling water rides at Missphily Hills, thrilling coaster rides at Adventure Amazonia, and fun filled dance and music zone at Brat Zone.
To ensure a safe and sound fun time at Water Kingdom, lifeguards patrol the whole area.
Open to all age groups and throughout the year, summer is the best time to visit this water park. Best enjoyed by the whole family, Water Kingdom has many kid-friendly rides and attractions including the Fab5 who are the mascots of the park.
The entry fee for adults and children are INR 590 and INR 390, respectively, from Monday to Thursday and INR 690 and INR 490, respectively, from Friday to Sunday and on holidays. However, senior citizens get a concessional rate of INR 190 and for children below the height 3'3, entry is free.
Ferries are available from Borivilli and Malad to Gorai on a regular basis.

I visited this place with my family for a weekend relaxation. This place is located just near in the city limit only and neatly maintained. The entry ticket is some much higher than other water parks i.e 950/- for each person. This ticket comprises of all rides such as"water ride, wave pool, lazy river, 45 and 90 degrees slidings, roller coaster, dragon rider which gives a "maximum enjoyment for a full day long in the trip. This park is opened from 10:00 am to evening 7 pm only so "I suggest every one to come early and go late to have more fun". Special food like"fresh fruits, south indian dishes, pav bhaji, popcorn are available here just beside the pool for reasonable prices only. And "locker facility is also present here but in which can be kept only one bag. After all good trip and money satisfied trip.

You have to take a ferry ride in order to reach the island where this is situated it will cost only 50 for pick-up and drop. If you visit Water Kingdom never miss the Wave Pool at the time of waves, it will be AWESOME at that time to float on those waves. It has two different pools one for kids which will be having low depth of around 3 to 3. 5 feet water and another one for others 4 to 5. 5 feet depth. And other exciting rides you should never miss are Drifting River, Adventures Amazonia, What A Coster. Rain-dance is another coolest thing to try here with stroming DJ music. When comes to food it's bit costly like any other amusement parks but taste is ok, not bad.

If you plan to go here on Sundays make sure you have patience to stand on long lines to wait for your turn to enjoy these rides since the rides are limited so that all are occupied.
